Hunting Package Details
Package
BirdDog hosts a pheasant tower shoot. Following the morning hunt, lunch and drinks will be served at the lodge.
Details
Arrival time is at 8:00am. Upon arrival, hunters will be acquainted with the hunt's rules and then with their guide and dogs. After the hunt, hunters are encouraged to stay through the early afternoon for a catered lunch, drinks, and fellowship.
Hunter Requirements
Unless otherwise arranged with the host, hunters are expected to provide the following:
- Valid Texas hunting license with Upland Game Bird endorsement.
- Hunting Clothing - Field pants, hunting shirt, hat or cap, and sturdy boots or shoes.
- Blaze Orange - A minimum of 2 pieces of blazer orange are required per hunter.
- Shotgun - Break-open shotgun required.
- Ammunition.
- Cooler to carry home your processed harvested game.

When do I get details about my booked hunt?
You will receive an email with additional details about your hunt immediately after booking, and location details will be sent one week prior to your hunt.

Do I need a license in order to hunt?
Most types of game listed on BirdDog require a license. When hunted on private property, those that do not require a license include: hogs, coyotes, bobcats, and other nuisance animals.
