Hunting Package Details
Package
BirdDog will host five teams of 4 in Premier Wingshooting's annual One-Box Chukar Tournament. Hunters are encouraged to book on behalf of--and recruit--an entire team. In addition to a day of hunting, barbeque and beverages will served after the hunt. The inclusive price is $2,000 per team. Hunters are expected to tip a minimum of 10%.
Details
Arrival time is at 8:00am. Upon arrival, hunters will be acquainted with the tournament rules and then with their team's guide and dogs. Each team will receive one box of shells and will proceed to one of the hunting fields. After the hunt and awards ceremony, hunters are encouraged to stay through the afternoon for barbeque and conversation. Departure is typically at about 4:00pm.
Hunter Requirements
Unless otherwise arranged with the host, hunters are expected to provide the following:
- Valid Texas hunting license with Upland Game Bird endorsement.
- Hunting Clothing - Field pants, hunting shirt, hat or cap, and sturdy boots or shoes.
- Blaze Orange - A minimum of 2 pieces of blazer orange are required per hunter.
- Shotgun - Break-open shotgun required.
- Ammunition.
- Cooler to carry home your processed harvested game.

When do I get details about my booked hunt?
You will receive an email with additional details about your hunt immediately after booking, and location details will be sent one week prior to your hunt.

Do I need a license in order to hunt?
Most types of game listed on BirdDog require a license. When hunted on private property, those that do not require a license include: hogs, coyotes, bobcats, and other nuisance animals.
